Graduated with a degree in audiovisual arts from the University of Guadalajara. His first documentary short film Cándida Vida won the jury prize in the Mexican Fragments category of Docs Mx festival. He received the Grodman Legacy scholarship for degree projects with the script Yo No Fui Yo.
